The second ride in our season long 200k adventure ride series is upon us.
Join the Outpost Adventure Club on a 200 kilometer ride from Richmond through the roads of Henrico, Hanover, King William, New Kent, and Charles City Counties. The route crosses SIX of central Virginia's rivers and winds through scenic back roads (some unpaved).
Like all our rides in this series it is semi-self guided. A cue sheet or turn-by-turn file for your Garmin GPS device is available. Generally 2-4 smaller groups form of riders with similar desired speeds.
There are several store stops along the way that are also outlined on the cue sheet.
For those looking for slightly shorter ride without the gravel/dirt road sections we have a 100 mile loop planned as well that uses most of the same paved back roads.
For those doing the full loop we suggest a road or touring bike with at least a 25mm tire. A fast rolling 28-35mm tire is probably best though.
If you have any questions about the ride feel free to contact us.
