The inspiration behind the market-bike shop combo was to provide some basic essentials to cyclists who stopped in on their ride or for service.

As the idea evolved during our quest for a location we saw that the Forest Hill - Westover Hills neighborhood would benefit from a more filled out small market.

At Outpost Richmond our approach to bicycles and food is the same. Quality goods and services to fuel the active biker, hiker, runner, birder, or just a busy family. We strive to provide a healthy mix of products to make your life easier. Oh and coffee.  And beer and wine. Because some small indulgences are always a good idea.

We work with local providers like Montana Gold, Blanchard's Coffee, Bombolini Pasta and many more whenever possible to bring you the best quality and freshest products.
